Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian home. Her father is a Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is an assistant researcher from Belgium who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah lived near Chennai she went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classical piano lessons at age eight years old, was classified as being a "geek" and wanted to be a psychiatric until her 12th grade board exam. At age 10 she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her musical and singing career. She performed as performer in her college in several performances organized by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was also an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's stage career started with Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she was a part-time actress in a new leo advertisement with actor Shiva.
