Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music.
